Halo: Combat Evolved was the flagship of all XBOX games, back in 2001. It's a First Person Shooter, created exclusively for Microsoft's XBOX console and later ported to the PCs. In 2011, a special edition of Halo: Combat Evolved was featured under the name Halo: Combat Evolved HD for the XBOX 360 using a new graphics engine.

Review
Halo Combat EvolvedStory:
An alien breed, the Covenants, inhabit a halo-shaped planet, making plans to destroy humanity. Our hero is a special ops officer named Master Chief and along with other human armed forces he must enter into the depths of this planet, exterminate the Covenants, research their technology and finish their plans once and for all. Apart from his own arsenal, Master Chief can carry and use alien weapons as well (the game features the ability of dual-wielding weapons), drive vehicles, fly various aircrafts, fire large projectiles and of course use a special alien sword for melee combats. His mission is hard so he always needs help from the rest of the Earthians. The game features a Single Player Campaign Mode, plus some multiplayer modes (via XBOX Link, XBOX Live and even a split-screen co-op mode). Either way, the experience is incredibly unique and fantastic, making this game one of the best Sci-Fi FPS ever created.
Graphics/Sound:
When a game is considered as the "Flagship" of a current console, there's nothing much to say. Halo was created exclusively for the XBOX in 2001, in order to demonstrate its raw power and capabilities in computing. This game managed to leave the rest rivals (PS2 and Gamecube) steps behind. Graphics are in one word, awesome. Halo is pure art with great characters, vivid colors and marvellous background enviroments. The game's engine is flawless and the sound used is, the least, epic. If you own a XBOX and never played Halo: Combat Evolved, just give it a try. I'm sure you'll love this one.
