The sequel of the great vertical scrolling shooter, Star Soldier having great graphics and gameplay.

Review
Super Star Soldier One of the best vertical shooters ever devised on the Pc Engine/TurboGrafx-16. Super Star Soldier takes place in the far future, where you are the last hope for planet Earth, which is being attacked by an alien race. The game follows the same formula as Star Soldier and Gunhead, with a selection of upgradeable weapons and a variety of space and land-based landscapes to fly over. Smart bombs are achieved by collecting flashing power-up orbs, and these also give you an extra bonus - the ability to continue from the point of death for each one you collect. Once you run out of these, you are set back to a restart point earlier in the level. An absolutely great shooter, although too difficult to progress through levels.

Graphically the game is superb, featuring super fast action, colorful and detailed backgrounds and sprites. The animation is pretty smooth too! The sound is also superb, having nice in-game music tunes and sfx.
