Alien Soldier is a side scrolling action adventure, created by Treasure Co exclusively for the Sega Megadrive and after 12 years to the Nintendo Wii.
Story: Year 2015. Sierra planet. The planet is possessed by a terrorist alien group called Xi-Tiger who have plans in demolishing it and vanishes all the other inhabitants (except their breed). You are a commando named E-Eagle and now you are destined to fight those creatures and bring peace again in this small planet. Armed with heavy weapons and a strong armor, war seems easy. But it's not. This is a good action adventure game that will keep fans for a little while, offering great gameplay, visuals and sound (especially)!
Graphics/Sound: At the welcome screen the game warns you that the heart of MC68000 will be on fire! So you expect great music, graphics and sound FX. Indeed the game offers all three of them at a very high standard, plus the chaos caused each time the aliens show up. The screens offer several nicely drawn backgrounds, all moving extremely fast with high-level of parallax-scrolling. Sprites move fast on screen too. Soundwise the game is great too, featuring several in-game tunes and arcade-style sound FX.
