Disney's Aladdin, a platform game released from Virgin and based on the 1992 animated Disney film Aladdin. Originally released on Sega Megadrive.Genesis and later, ported to Nintendo SNES and Commodore Amiga (AGA).
You are Aladdin, who travels through various known from the movie locations in Middle East, from Agrabah, the Cave Of Wonders etc, until he reaches the Grand Vezier Jafar's palace to confront him. Aladdin carries his sword to protect him fighting with the Sultan's guards, animals, spiders and more.
The Megadrive version is the same as in the Amiga AGA. It features good graphics in 64 colors and the animation is good as well. The sprites were taken from the cartoon movie and look funny. Sound FX are fine and the music score is sampled from the movie as well. Megadrive and Amiga AGA versions, though good platformers, are much inferior to the almost perfect SNES one.
